105.1 The Bounce Coronavirus Information Hub

Look people, littering is, has, and always will be A CRIME.

Michigan State Police is reminding Michiganders their personal masks, gloves and other personal protective wear belongs in the garbage  — not on streets and sidewalks! If you’re caught ditching your gear someplace other than in the trash, first of all, you’re a disgrace, second, it could cost you $225…

If someone carrying COVID-19 used the protective wear then dropped it on the sidewalk, the person who comes behind to clean it up could potentially be exposed to the virus!

MSP Ft./Lt. Mike Shaw said local police municipalities can issue the citations and the courts decide the fine.

All-in-all…don’t be a dirt bag. Throw your garbage away.
