No Large Gatherings for up to 18 Months
The Dr. who bent former president Barack Obama’s ear says he thinks fan attending sporting events and other large gatherings will be put on hold until a vaccine is ready. That could still take 12-18 months.
As part of a New York Times panel, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel (brother of former Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel) says the US economic rewakening would need to come in steps. First, with businesses that can still maintain some level of social distancing – something you can’t do in a packed arena or stadium.
Dr. Emanuel says sports teams might be playing in near silence until Fall of 2021.
