Lady Gaga Teams Up With Blackpink For ‘Sour Candy’

Lady Gaga’s fans have been so focused on Chromatica coming out tomorrow (May 29) that they were pleasantly caught off guard this morning in the form of a surprise single. The singer has teamed up with K-pop group Blackpink for a new club anthem “Sour Candy.”

Back in April, while being interviewed by a Japanese media outlet, Lady Gaga shared what inspired her to work with the group. Per Rolling Stone, she said “I wanted to celebrate them because they love powerful women like us, and they also wanted to celebrate me, and we had a great time together with this song. I was excited to hear them interpret the song in Korean, and told them that the part was so creative and fun.”
