Happy birthday, Alanis Morissette! She turns 46 today (June 1) and looks amazing.

In honor of Morissette, here are some great facts about the “You Outghta Know” singer.

Jagged Little Pill took home “Album of the Year” at the 1996 Grammy Awards when Morissette was just 21 years old, making her the youngest artist to score that particular Grammy until Taylor Swift broke the record at age 20 in 2010.

“You Outghta Know” features Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea on bass and Jane’s Addiction’s Dave Navarro on lead guitar. Awesome lineup!

Morissette opened for Vanilla Ice on his 1990 tour. That would be a fun run!

She was engaged to Ryan Reynolds.

In 2005, Morissette released an acoustic version of the record, which was sold only via Starbucks’ Hear Music for six weeks starting on the day of its 10th anniversary.
