Detroit Public Schools has taken the state’s first step in reopening schools on Monday with the start of summer classes during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Around 100 protesters from multiple organization and groups arrived at the district’s bus lot on the west side of Detroit. The protesters held up signs and blocked all of the exits out of the facility. These action were taken to derail the first day of class for students that would be taking the bus.
