As we previously reported, Tory Lanez was arrested after an “alleged argument” that led to police finding a gun in his car on Sunday morning (July 12), which is the same incident that Megan referred to in her Instagram post on Wednesday (July 15).

In Megan’s post, she revealed that she had recently been shot, and now video footage has surfaced from Lanez’s and the Houston rapper’s police stop.

The two artists were stopped by Los Angeles Police Department in the Hollywood Hills section of Los Angeles, and in the video footage that surfaced Tory Lanez was lying face down on the ground in the street while a limping Megan Thee Stallion was walking backward in the street with her hands up in the air.

While the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper was walking backward in the street with her hands up, police officers can be heard on their loudspeaker giving the artist orders. However, it’s unclear exactly what the officers were saying.

In Megan’s Instagram post, she revealed that she suffered gunshot wounds, and TMZ reported that the rapper was shot in the foot, which is perhaps the reason why she was limping while walking in the street.

In Megan’s post, she wanted to clarify false reports regarding her being arrested along with Lanez. “I was never arrested. This whole experience was an eye-opener and a blessing in disguise. I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy,” Megan wrote.

“The narrative that is being reported about Sunday’s morning events is inaccurate and I’d like to set the record straight. On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me.”

“I was never arrested. The police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets,” Megan continued. “I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night.”

“I’m currently focused on my recovery, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible,” Megan concluded. On Sunday (July 12), police got a call of a disturbance outside a Hollywood Hills residence around 4:30 AM, as TMZ reported.

When officers arrived, an alleged argument led to an unidentified person firing a gunshot and a SUV driving away. The police got a description of the vehicle, according to the gossip website.

When law enforcement located it, Tory Lanez was in the car with Hot Girl Meg, along with another female. The police then discovered a gun in the vehicle and Lanez was taken to jail and booked for the felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon.
