Watch Sterling Heights Police Officer Save Newborn Baby
Sterling Heights Police Department Officer Cameron Maciejewski is being called a hero after he saved a newborn girl from choking.
The incident, which was picked up by a dashcam camera, started around 10:45 p.m. last Thursday. Maciejewski drove up to the home, and the family ran to him carrying the 3-week-old child, who was not breathing, according to the police department.
The footage released by the police department then shows Maciejewski holding the baby and performing back thrusts on the child to clear her airway.
He, truly, is a hero.
