President Trump Threatens To Send Troops
On Monday, President Trump said he may send federal troops to Detroit to deal with the protests. There are currently federal agents in Portland to which President Trump said they “have done a fantastic job”.

Local authorities saying the protests had started to ease right before the federal agents came in.

Today, President Trump threatened to send federal law enforcement into many cities, including Detroit. Frankly, he doesn't know the first thing about Detroit. If he did, he’d know Detroiters gathered to peacefully protest the systemic racism that Black Americans face every day.
