He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Over the course of his career, he has been in more than 30 films.
He is a vegan! He went vegan at the young age of 3 and never looked back.
He worked as a firefighter for a month to prep for his role in Ladder 49, in which he portrays a firefighter who was forced to fight a major fire to save a family.
His brother is the late, great actor, River Phoenix.
