Michigan smoked more than $500 million in recreational marijuana in 2020, according to new data from Headset.
According to Headset, a company that looks at cannabis consumer trends, recreational weed sales in Michigan grew by 482% between January and December of 2020. The recreational marijuana sales started the year in January near $10 million and grew to $57.2 million by December.
Medical sales rose in 2020, too, although by the end of the year, recreational weed sales topped medical by more than $32 million.
How will trends go in 2021? Only time will tell!
