Cam’ron was born Cameron Ezike Giles on Feb. 4, 1976. He’s a rapper, record executive and actor from East Harlem, New York.
Here are some cool facts about him:
- He attended the Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics. While going to school, he became friends with Mason “Mase” Betha and Jim Jones.
- Cam’ron started rapping back in the mid-1990s in the underground rap group Children Of The Corn with Big L, Mase, and his cousin, Bloodshed.
- His big break came with his buddy Mase introduced him to The Notorious BIG, who set up a meeting with his partner Lance “Un” Rivera and got him inked to his label, Untertainment.
- His debut album, “Confessions of Fire,” was certified gold by RIAA!
