Happy birthday to the legendary Dr. Dre, who turns 56 today (Feb. 18)!
Dr. Dre was born Andre Romelle Young on Feb. 18, 1965. He’s the founder and CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics.
Dr. Dre started his hip-hop life as a member of the World Class Wreckin’ Cru in 1985 and later, of course, with N.W.A. Dr. Dre is also a pioneer in the West Coast G-funk hip-hop subgenre.
