An adorable dog who had been stranded on the frozen Detroit River for four days was rescued over the weekend.

The dog, dubbed the Miracle Dog, was still on the Detroit River when a good Samartian, who asked to be anonymous, spotted the dog in distress and came in with an airboat to bring him to land.

The dog was brought to the Woodhaven Animal Hospital. At first, he wasn't doing well. He had blocks of ice frozen in his fur, plus was dealing with frostbite, malnutrition and severe pancreatitis.

As of yesterday, the Woodhaven Animal Hospital posted an update on the dog, explaining that he's doing well and still on IV fluids, but able to hold food down.

Check out some video updates below. So glad he's safe!
