Drake’s ‘Scary Hours 2’ Dropped: Fans React Ecstatically
Drake’s three-track EP Scary Hours 2 dropped at midnight, and predictably, blew up Twitter almost instantly.
On the first song on Scary Hours 2, “What’s Next”, Drake addresses the constant questioning about his time away from the limelight: “They wanna know how I’m livin’ my day to day life in the regular season. Well summer, all I did was rest, okay? And New Year’s, all I did was stretch, okay?”
“Wants and Needs” features Lil Baby, and Drake has a message to the public’s opinions, saying “leave me out the comments, leave me out the nonsense.”
Finally, on “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” featuring Rick Ross, a notable lyric in the nearly six-and-a-half-minute long song: “These days fame is disconnected from excellence.”
