New Visa Allows You to Work Remote from the Caribbean Island of Dominica
The Commonwealth of Dominica is making accommodations for remote workers to stay on the island for an extended period under a new visa offering.
The Work in Nature (WIN) Visa enables tourists to relocate to Dominica for up to 18 months to work remotely and live on the beautiful, picturesque island.
Families that apply for the WIN visa with Dominica may also opt for the family bundle program, which enables children to attend school on the island. To apply, applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of $100, as well as $800 for singles and $1,200 for families for the actual visa.
Those who apply must be at least 18 years old and “of good character with no criminal record,” according to a release. Applicants must also “expect to earn an income of $50,000 or more over the next 12 months or have a means of supporting themselves, their spouse/partner and any dependents.”
Once the application is complete, expect to get a response within seven days.
