The main factor in the change was Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's announcement last week that all outdoor capacity restrictions will be gone starting June 1.
"As you may know, Governor Whitmer announced last week that capacities for outdoor events will be lifted on June 1," the festival said in a statement. "After careful consideration and consultation with the City of Ann Arbor and others, we have decided to officially rescind our cancellation."
The fair is now set for July 15 through 17. That's one day shorter than their typical four-day event.
"We can't wait to once again fill the vibrant streets of downtown Ann Arbor with our fine-artists and vendors," the festival added. "We are looking forward to a safe and successful event this summer. We hope to see you during the third week of July!"
