LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - JUNE 27: Roddy Ricch attends the BET Awards 2021 at Microsoft Theater on June 27, 2021 in Los Angeles, California.

Some new music from Roddy Ricch is coming our way as “The Box” rapper unveils a new title for his upcoming album on his Instagram Story.

LIVE LIFE FA$T is what the 22-year-old says will be the album’s title (“as of now”). Previously, the Compton rapper was going to go with Love Is Barely Real Anymore that he tweeted in a since-deleted tweet back in 2020, “Love Is Barely Real Anymore…… otw,” he wrote per HotNewHipHop. The acronym of that album title was “L.I.B.R.A” which is the rapper’s zodiac sign.

The screenshot from the rapper’s Instagram Story on the RapFavorites Twitter account shows that the album will include about 18 songs lasting 51 minutes. The only visible song title is the first song titled “Live Fast Intro.”

In an interview with Complex, the rapper revealed that this next project will be more revealing and his new album will “bridge the gap” between old and new fans.

“With my next project, I’m going to be more vulnerable,” he said. “I’m going to bring fans into my world more. I’m learning the balance. Like, OK, I’m not on Instagram, so I feel like I’ve got to bring them into my life more so they can feel me a little more.”

He continued, “Coming off one of the biggest albums I could’ve done, I feel like taking them back to the basics with me. There’s all the old fans I had when I first started rapping, and these new fans that I got since the big album and Grammys and everything. So I want to bridge the gap between my old fans and my new fans. That’s what I’m on a mission to do with this next situation that I’m working on.”

Ricch’s last project Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial? was extremely successful, winning BET’s “Album of the Year” and “Hip Hop Award for Best Album. The project also earned an American Music Award for “Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album” and gained three Grammy nominations for the project’s top song “The Box.”
