Michigan Park Named One of the Best Skinny Dipping Spots in the World

Michigan garners “best” awards in plenty of categories, but here’s one we didn’t expect to see. A small Michigan area has been named one of the best skinny dipping locations in the world. Of course, skinny dipping is not legal in Michigan, so we don’t condone trying this out, but it’s still funny to see.

In a new study, MyDatingAdviser.com has listed Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula the No. 31 best spot for skinny dipping worldwide out of the 100 top locations. In the U.S., the spot is ranked No. 3.

“Our study compared 100 nude beach spots across the following categories: beach quality, safety, weather, and hotel cost (with seven data points),” MyDatingAdviser.com says. “We then ranked the top 25 nude beaches in the world, with the best location per country.”

Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is in the U.P., and it’s Michigan’s largest state park. Find the full list from MyDatingAdviser.com here.
