Kylie Jenner Slammed For Posting Bloodied Pictures While Pregnant
Kylie Jenner has been criticized on social media for a Halloween photoshoot in which her naked pregnant body is drenched in fake blood.
The 24-year-old Kylie Cosmetics mogul is expecting her second child with Travis Scott; they also have a 3-year-old daughter, Stormi.
Jenner is also due to release her Nightmare on Elm Street collection, featuring Freddy Krueger-inspired makeup. Promoting its drop today (October 12), she posted photos of her covered in blood, which some have described as “disturbing.”
“MY KYLIE X NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET COLLECTION LAUNCHES TOMORROW!” she wrote alongside the images, part of a larger photoshoot for the launch of the collection. “Ahhh what a DREAM to collaborate with the icon of horror,’ she also wrote.
However, given she’s carrying a child, some of her followers have found it to be a bit triggering. “kylie wtf did you just do with the baby,” wrote one user.
Another added, “This needs a warning ⚠️”
“This is kind disturbing especially since you’re pregnant. But that’s just my opinion😕 doesn’t matter” wrote one user.
“What kind of satanic s— is this?” commented another.
“This is in such poor taste. Ugh,” another person wrote.
Another user commented, “someone trying to recover a miscarriage will find this super daunting 😷”
Sharing the same sentiments, another person wrote, “Considering she is currently pregnant and baby loss results in losing a lot of blood, this is disturbing and sickening.”
One user pointed out the tone-deafness of the post writing, “On mental health awareness day, I scroll through my feed and see so many positive uplifting things and then this? I usually don’t comment on stuff but this seems a little tone-deaf for the times we are in. Super unnecessary.. and really uncomfortable to look at.”
Posting a video of the bloodied advertisement nearly a week ago, many people made period jokes or theorize Kylie is a part of the Illuminati.
