Happy birthday to Eminem, who turned 49 on Sunday (Oct. 17)!

Eminem was born Marshall Bruce Mathers III on Oct. 17, 1972. He’s one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having moved more than 220 million records worldwide. We’re extremely proud that Eminem is not only from Detroit- he also has continued to live in the Detroit area, even after his success. Sunday was my mom’s birthday, too, so it’s funny to think that my mom and Eminem share the same birthday!
