It's that time of year- time to look around for the best Christmas lights in the area. I actually love driving around and finding homes and businesses decked out for the holidays. It's just fun to see what creative minds come up with around the holidays.

If you like Christmas lights, then you'll find a lot of them at the "Wild Lights" walk. The annual holiday tradition at the Detroit Zoo features an incredible five million LED lights adorned on buildings, trees and sculptures throughout the zoo.

The event, which turns nine this year, is back and closes on Jan. 9, 2022. Tickets run $17 to $24, depending on when you go. Kids under 2 are free.

To attend, all tickets must be purchased in advance online or at the Detroit Zoo during daytime hours. For information and to get tickets, go here. If you're not in the Detroit area during the holidays, many zoos across the State also have Christmas lights events, including Lansing's Potter Park Zoo, which you can find information on here.
