It’s a New Year, and with it comes New Year’s resolutions. I’m never great at making New Year’s resolutions. If I want to change something about my life, I try to do it whenever, not just because it’s a different year. But, that said, I totally appreciate people who are dedicated enough to keep their New Year’s resolutions and always root for them to succeed.

Personal-finance website WalletHub just released its list of 2022’s Best & Worst Cities for Keeping Your New Year’s Resolutions. This new report comes alongside WalletHub’s list of the top New Year’s Financial Resolutions for 2022.

For the study, WalletHub compared more than 180 U.S. cities across 57 key metrics and five key dimensions: health resolutions, financial resolutions, school & work Resolutions, bad-habit resolutions and relationship resolutions.

As it turns out, one of the worst cities on the list for keeping New Year’s resolutions is Detroit, Michigan. The city is at No. 178 on the list, out of 182. The best city for New Year’s resolutions is Scottsdale, Arizona. Who would have thought? Check out the full list here.
