It’s 2022 and people are still out here being ignorant! A Portland, Oregon business owner shared a racist email she received.
The person demanded a refund not because the product was defective but because they realized they supported a Black business.
The person wrote in part, before you start and go on a race tyrant please be aware it is called my preference because we are all aware of how you people like to act when things do not go your way.
You people?!
It gets worse… the customer goes on to say, “Also, happy holiday. Isn’t it you people holiday today?”
The customer added that the owner should make it clear on the website that the company is Black owned. The website does have an ‘About Us’ page.
The owner posted the email on TikTok protecting the identity of the customer and because of how awesome people are, the business owner is now sold out of all items.
So what was the item? Fashionable self defense items.
