DaBaby: Shooting Allegedly Occurs At Rapper’s Home
DaBaby’s North Carolina residence was visited by the police on Wednesday (April 13) evening following the reports of a shooting. Troutman Police Department stated on Facebook that officers were called to the home of the rapper around 7:45 p.m., and found “one subject suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.” The subject was then transported to Iredell County EMS to a medical facility for treatment.
“Due to the ongoing nature of this investigation, no information as to the names of those involved or the circumstances can be released at this time,” the press release continued. “This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community at large.” The TPD did not release any names but a Facebook page that alleges to “report on public safety incidents and news in Iredell County” called “Iredell Firewire360” reports that the home belonged to the North Carolina rapper.
“A call came into Iredell County 911 reporting that a subject had been shot on the property of rapper Jonathan ‘DaBaby’ Kirk,” they stated. The shooting allegedly took place “near the football field on the property” and the person who was injured was said to have “trespassed onto the property.”
The rapper has yet to speak out to confirm or deny that the shooting happened on his property.
