Eminem Announces 20th Anniversary Edition Of ‘The Eminem Show’
Eminem has announced that there will be an expanded edition of The Eminem Show to commemorate the album’s 20th anniversary.
In a video posted to his Instagram account, you see several monitors showing clips from the MC’s music videos. “Well, if you want Shady, this is what I’ll give ya…#TheEminemShow 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition drops Thursday 5/26,” Em captioned the teaser on Instagram.
The Eminem Show housed hits such as “Without Me,” “White America,” and “Cleanin’ Out My Closet.”
Twenty years later, it’s been certified 12 times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and become the second best-selling album of the 21st century with 27 million units sold per Billboard. Adele has the No. 1 spot with over 31 million copies sold for her 2011 album 21.
The Eminem Show was released on May 26, 2022, and scored the rapper his second career No. 1 following the release of his Marshall Mathers LP.
The MC has had quite a year performing at the LVI Super Bowl Halftime Show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent as learning that he will be as inducted into this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
