A northern California Shell gas station manager says he was fired from his job after setting the price per gallon to just 69 cents!

The price sat at 69 cents for over three hours and cost the Shell gas station an estimated 16 thousand dollars!

The former manager told a local news outlet that he accidentally set the price to 69 cents and was actually supposed to set it to 6.99.

The customers took advantage of the mistake, filling up their vehicles and taking a break from paying nearly 7 dollars at the pump.

As far as I’m concerned, this guy risked it all for the greater good!
