Videos online surfaced that Drake’s plane “Air Drake” had landed in Sweden Wednesday (July 13). It is unclear why Drake is in the country.
Fans quickly flocked to Twitter using the #FreeDrake hashtag writing, “free drake don’t even sound real to say out loud like wtf is goin on inna world rn.” Another fan was a lot more dramatic with hearing the news of Drake’s alleged arrest writing, “fell to my knees in my room, tears are running down my eyes. this is worst than the death of my son i had in 2017. the world will burn if this is true. i am now running covered in blood screaming ‘FREE DRAKE’ in the streets till the lord hears me.”
If the rumors were true, this would have been the second time in recent memory that a rapper had been arrested over in Sweden. Back in 2019, A$AP Rocky was arrested in the country which later needed the help of President Trump to get him back over the U.S.
