Comedian Jak Knight’s Cause Of Death Revealed
Comedian Jak Knight’s death has been confirmed following an autopsy by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner PEOPLE reports.
The actor was found on an embankment Thursday (July 14) after suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a coroner’s report obtained by the outlet on Monday (July 18). The 28-year-old’s cause of death has been ruled a suicide by the coroner.
Knight most recently co-created and co-starred in Peacock’s Bust Down with Sam Jay, Chris Redd, and Langston Kerman. The series takes place in Gary, Indiana and focuses on four low-wage employees at a local casino. Knight, Jay, Redd, and Kerman are also billed as executive producers. Additionally, he has an upcoming onscreen role in fellow comedian Chelsea Peretti’s First Time Female Director.
The actor’s other credits include writing for Black-ish and Lucas Bros. Moving Co. . The 28-year-old’s resume also included both acting and writing credits for Pause with Sam Jay, Netflix’s Big Mouth in addition to being a stand-up comedian.
