Netflix Has Added a New Charge to Your Bill
Netflix has thought of a new way to stop you from sharing your password. Or are they just trying to make more money? They have been hurting since losing subscribers and to be honest, I wasn’t really trippin’ because I use my grandmother’s account. But I guess things are about to change!
According to a statement, the streaming platform will test an “add a home” feature where users will be asked to pay an additional fee if they see the account being used away from home for two weeks. Welp, tack it on the bill for me!
The charge will be $2.99 and there’s talk that soon you’ll be able to track who is using your account and even stop someone from having access to the account at all.
So it sounds to me as if they are going to pitch this as you keeping your account safe but in all reality, that $2.99 is going to add up once they ding all of the users who share an account which I have to imagine is quite a bit.
Netflix keeps taking L’s if you ask me. Stupid!
