One of Michigan’s Biggest Haunted Houses is Looking for Actors, Workers
There’s no denying that summer is winding down and fall is on the way in just about a month. I’m not happy about it, since I hate cold weather, but I do love Halloween, so that’s one positive thing on the horizon. Not to mention that wearing band hoodies in the fall is the best.
Now, one of Michigan’s biggest haunted attractions is looking for actors, makeup artists and workers. Are you scary enough?
The folks at Erebus Haunted Attraction in Pontiac are still hiring for the 2022 season, which is just around the corner. The haunted attraction’s Facebook page has a post up urging interested people to get in touch of apply in person at an upcoming event. The post says that if you are interested in joining their team of actors, you can apply Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 18 S. Perry in Downtown Pontiac. They will also have a special hiring event on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for actors and makeup artists. Erebus Haunted Attraction is known nationally for its chills and thrills. It actually had the Guinness World Record for largest walk-through haunted attraction from 2005 until 2009, when Cutting Edge Haunted House took over that honors. “Serving terrifying thrills, unforgettable moments of laughter, and blood-curdling screams,” they say on their official website. “Come feast on state of the art Hollywood special effects where things will bite you, grab you, and attack you!” If you’ve never been to Erebus, is something of a rite of passage for any Michigander into haunts.
