Tuesday, August 23 marks what would have been Kobe Bryant’s 44th birthday.
Widow Vanessa Bryant paid tribute to the basketball legend on Instagram.
Vanessa shared a photo of the pair after Kobe won his fourth NBA title and first NBA Finals MVP award in 2009.

I’ll never forget one of the most important days of my radio career breaking the news that Kobe had passed. I had went into the station to record some audio on a Sunday and the news started swirling that he may have been involved in a plane crash.
We miss you Kobe! Happy birthday!
