Fans felt Missy Elliott was dishing out shade when she asked fans the difference between a hit and a classic song.
Many fans, especially Nicki’s “Barbz,” took offense, shooting comments back at Missy, aiming at her career, calling the “Get Ur Freak On” rapper “jealous.”
Missy responded by saying the question stemmed from a conversation she was having with a producer friend, who said it’s really about preference.
Missy reminded trolls that she was coming from a “positive place.”
Nicki’s “barbz” are always so quick to think someone is coming for Nicki. Missy has the be the most humble female rapper of all time! Plus, if we’re talking CLASSICS, that’s Missy all day.
