Offset Drops ‘Code’ Featuring Moneybagg Yo Amid Quality Control Drama
Despite the current drama with Quality Control Music, Offset is gearing up with new music for his solo career. The Atlanta rapper dropped “Code,” another solo song without his Migos rap mates.
“Code” features a guest appearance from Moneybagg Yo which is also accompanied by a visual featuring model Bella Hadid. The new offering from the Atlanta rap star comes after his first solo single of the year “54321” produced by Baby Keem. “Code” also follows the recent legal battle between Offset and his label Quality Control Music, over the control of his solo music. Offset called out the Quality Control CEO Pierre “P” Thomas earlier this week, “N—– act like Im the problem I paid millions to get my rights back,” Offset Niggas act like im the problem I paid millions to get my rights back Nigga you black balled me I ain’t said Shìt one time homie I ain’t spoke to you in 2 years now I drop and you want ya name on my credit? https://t.co/UGRDykvX5C
Thomas seemingly responded by tweeting back at Offset referring to Migos’ previous lawsuit that was dismissed back in 2021. “Been to real for all this lame s—,” P wrote in a since-deleted tweet per Vulture. “Everyone know the real problem.”
Offset’s Migos’ group mates are also hard at work in the studio. Quavo and Takeoff, have continued working together, both under the name Migos and as the duo “Unc and Phew” who according to “P” are New @QuavoStuntin @1YoungTakeoff Album OtW. Back to Business
