LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 19: Host Cardi B attends the 2021 American Music Awards Red Carpet Roll-Out with Host Cardi B at L.A. LIVE on November 19, 2021 in Los Angeles, California.

Cardi B pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges Thursday (Sept. 15) stemming from a 2018 attack at a strip club in Queens.

The rapper agreed to plead guilty to 3rd-degree assault and reckless endangerment in the second degree. She has been placed on a three-year order of protection from the Wattley sisters and was sentenced to serve 15 days of community service, The New York Post reports.

Back in August of 2018, she allegedly hurled a hookah and two champagne bottles at the Wattley sisters who are both bartenders at the Queens club. The rapper then allegedly ordered her crew to assault them. According to TMZ, the two women go by Jade and Baddie Gi and Cardi’s reason as to why she allegedly ordered her crew to assault them was that she suspected that they had sex with her husband, Offset. Cardi was arrested and booked a few months later for her alleged role in the strip club fight.

After taking the plea deal Cardi spoke to the gossip site about how she felt after the ruling, “Part of growing up and maturing is being accountable for your actions,” she said.  “As a mother, it’s a practice that I am trying to instill in my children, but the example starts with me. I’ve made some bad decisions in my past that I am not afraid to face and own up to.”
