“Moonbeams For Sweet Dreams” Returns To Beaumont Children’s Hospital In Royal Oak !
Beaumont Children’s Hospital is preparing to light the night for its littlest patients with the beloved holiday event, ‘Moonbeams for Sweet Dreams”, going on December 9 – 24 at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, the new name for Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.
Following a two- year hiatus during the pandemic, the community is invited to return once again to support pediatric patients hospitalized during the holidays.
At 8pm for ten minutes each night, friends and neighbors of all ages have been coming out since 2017 to shine beams of light up on the windows of the pediatric unit for children to enjoy.
Pediatric patients, in turn, return the festive glow with flashlights of their own. The event was created to raise the spirits of children who might feel isolated or have a hard time settling in for a good night’s sleep during holidays .
Attendees are asked to arrive by 7:45 p.m. to allow time to park.
