Metro Boomin Gives Fans An Update On Young Thug
Metro Boomin took to Instagram to give fans an update on Young Thug. The YSL boss was arrested in May 2022 and has been behind bars ever since while he awaits trial for the RICO charges for himself and his crew.
“Talked to [spider emoji] today and just know when he touchdown the whole [earth emoji] gon feel it [bicep flex emoji],” Metro wrote on his Instagram Story of a picture of he and Thugger.
This is not the first time recently the superstar producer has spoken about Thugger’s condition since he has been incarcerated. He recently was a guest on The Streetz Iz Watching podcast, per HotNewHipHop, where he spoke about how Thugger is processing everything.
“I be talking to him, he’s blessed man,” the HEROES & VILLAINS creator explained. “Anybody know Slime know he got a heart of gold but he got the heart of a warrior at the same time so like, he got his head up. And I pray for him every single day, even since everything first happened, I pray for him every single day.
“The day he got locked up he was supposed to be in the ‘Superhero’ video,” Metro continued.”He had a whole scene set up where he was gonna say the tag and do some other s—. I remember talking to him on the FaceTime, he was like, ‘yeah I’m finna pull up.'”

Jury selection is still ongoing for Thugger’s trial with more than 500 being requested by Judge Ural Glanville.

Young Thug has been denied bail three times following his arrest. He was previously facing up to 65 counts which have been reduced to eight charges per the publication. The eight charges include conspiracy to violate the R.I.C.O. act, two counts of participation in criminal street gang activity and possession of both marijuana and codeine with intent to distribute.
