I’m Shannon Renee and here’s your Scoop!
Wayne State University
We all know how expensive college tuition can be. If you are looking for free tuition for yourself or your kids and you qualify, this might be for you. Wayne State is implementing a new program called the Wayne State Guarantee. They’re offering free tuition beginning this fall for about half of their incoming students. Typically students pay like $15,000 a year for tuition in fees and actually, that’s one of the lowest here in the state. To qualify you have to be a family with an annual income of less than $70,000 a year, plus less than $50,000 in assets. They’re offering this for students attending up to five years. You can get more info at wayne.edu.
Rick Ross Gifts Scholarships
Well, this is awesome news. Rick Ross has teamed up with the Rolling Loud co-founder to gift eight Miami High School students who displayed academic excellence with scholarships up to $10,000 and free tickets to Rolling Loud. Congratulations to those students.
Lindsay Lohan is Expecting
And speaking of congratulations, really quickly, I want to congratulate Lindsay Lohan. She’s pregnant with her first child with her husband.
