First of the Month Friendly Reminder

I know how much of a struggle that it is to become a homeowner. But the city of Detroit wants to help more residents become a homeowner. They have announced a historic program for those who do not currently own a home with up to $25,000 in down payment assistance. Yes, this is for low income earners. They may not have enough for the down payment but can definitely keep up with the monthly mortgage payment. There's a $41,000 income limit or less for an individual. And it's expected to help up to 400 people over the next couple of years. So if you're interested in applying for this program, you can do so over at detroitdpa.org or detroitmi.gov.  Take advantage of it.

Well, the Dreamville Festival went off this weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Usher was headlining and decided to have a little fun with the audience. He said "As promised, I said I would have a special surprise for you tonight, ladies and gentlemen. You guys want to know what that surprise is? Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, put your hands together for the one, the only, Beyonce. April Fools." That's right.it was an April Fools joke. He's lucky they didn't throw stuff at him, honestly, because you don't play about Beyonce.

Well, Teyana Taylor sat down with Tamron Hall. It actually airs today, but a little clip was released promoting the show. She revealed that Dionne Warwick has asked her to play her in her biopic! Now, this isnt something I had ever thought about, but now that I see it, I'm like who else could play her but Teyana! No official release date so keep an eye out for that.
