Detroit Opening Day Lyft Discount
Tigers Opening Day is Thursday! I can’t believe it’s already here. They play the Red Sox at 1:10 PM at Comerica Park. Of course, plenty of drinking goes on in and around that time. So if you want to get home safely, there’s actually a Lyft discount that’s available courtesy of Wallside Windows. They’re going to cover 50% of your Lyft ride home, up to $15 off. All you have to do is go to the rewards page on the Lyft menu, then go to ‘add promo code’ and type in “Wallside 2023”. Do it now, so if you get super drunk you don’t forget!
And speaking of Opening Day, Mean Jean and 105.1 The Bounce will be at The Detroit Spars Bar & Grill Thursday! It’s on Woodward, really close to Comerica Park and you can hang out with him starting at 10:30 AM til 1:00 PM, just before the game starts. And for some extra incentive to join them, Mean Jean will have Lil Wayne tickets to give away!
Lizzo Casting for Big Grrrls
Well, Lizzo had a show on Amazon and apparently, she just renewed her contract with them. So, now she’s launching another casting call for Season 2 of “Big Grrrls”. This is open for women of all sizes. You can sing and dance for the chance to join her on stage at future concerts. You do have to apply on their website with a video submission. So, if you’re interested in singing and shaking your thing with Lizzo, head over to https://biggrrrls.castingcrane.com/ and apply! But hurry, the deadline is this Sunday, April 9th.
Young Thug Temporary Prison Release
Young Thug has been in prison for about a year and apparently, he was granted a temporary release to attend his sister’s funeral. Actually, he attended a private viewing. It wasn’t the actual funeral. But they did let him out for that. It seems he’s pretty fortunate to have gotten that release. Not many of those requests are granted when you’re serving a prison sentence.
