When you get into a relationship, being faithful is of great importance. Michigan, as it turns out, has one of the least faithful cities when it comes to relationships in America. That’s not good news, of course.
My Dating Advisor has put together a list of the most unfaithful cities in America. “When it comes to sex and relationships, cheating can happen,” they state in the article. “That’s why we put together a list of who cheats, and the results are pretty fascinating.”
My Dating Advisor adds that they used data from the U.S. Census Bureau to calculate their own “Infidelity Index” for 200 major U.S. cities. “The study factored in the population’s relationship satisfaction by looking at marriage, divorce, and separation rates,” they stated. “In addition, the population’s life satisfaction by evaluating emotional and physical well-being, work environment, and community.” They also looked at the number of venues to meet for an affair and the volume of searches for affair hookup websites.
You might think that more cheaters would be in larger cities, where they can find more people, but the data found “what we were already aware of; cheaters are everywhere, and infidelity can happen anywhere – in large cities and small ones.”
So, which Michigan city made the list of one of the most unfaithful cities in America? Detroit, which came in at No. 27 on the list. At least it wasn’t in the top 10. Another Michigan city made the list, too, with Grand Rapids ranking No. 84. If you’re looking for the city to avoid when it comes to wanting to stay away from cheaters, Dallas, Texas, is No. 1.
