50 Cent Slams Pras For Being An FBI Informant
50 Cent reacted to Fugee’s Pras Michel taking the stand in his federal conspiracy trial and admitting he was an FBI informant.

50’s comment follows the news that Michel has pleaded not guilty to federal charges of conspiracy and falsifying records. Michel took the stand on April 18. While it’s rare that a defendant would testify on their own trial, the Fugees member told the court he made the decision “after consulting with my attorneys and the universe,” CBS reports.
Prosecutors claim Michel pocketed millions from helping Low Taek Jho also known as Jho Low. They claim Michel helped Low run foreign-influence campaigns against the U.S. government during both the Obama and Trump administrations, per Rolling Stone. Through Low, Pras allegedly contributed to both Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign and Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.

The Grammy winner admitted that he met with federal agents. Michel met with them to assist in China’s attempts to take down billionaire Guo Wengui. Wengui fled the U.S. in 2014 after it was made public he would be facing numerous charges in his home country. He was facing bribery, money laundering, fraud, and rape in China.
“I took it upon myself to report because I thought the FBI should know,” he said, per CBS News. Wengui has since been indicted on fraud charges.
Michel said he met Low when he wanted to get into politics. He saw it as “a way to try to help people” he told Rolling Stone previously.
“I was one of those people who was just dabbling. I never thought I would be full-time into politics,” he said at the time. “I realized politics is not for me. The problem with politics is this: It’s that the people within politics, they’re dirtier than the people who are not in politics.”
