Latto’s Loaded Gun Charge Dismissed
Latto’s gun charge has been dismissed following the rapper’s following completion of a gun safety course and over 100 hours of community service. According to the L.A. County Superior Court Clerk, the rapper’s case was officially dismissed Tuesday (April 25), per gossip site TMZ.
“I am extremely pleased with the outcome and glad my client can move forward with her flourishing career,” Latto’s attorney Jamal Tooson told the tabloid. The ATL native denied the allegations that she was ever in a program involving the gun charge.
“Idk who put out that false a– information cause I’m not in no damn program,” the 24-year-old wrote on Twitter in March. “Also the situation happened over a year ago & y’all never even knew until I mentioned it in the Boom pt 2 verse. Nun to ‘brag’ about. Leave me alone.”
In May 2021, the “Big Energy” rapper was charged with carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a concealed weapon in the LAX airport. She started her 12-month diversion program in April of last year.
This follows Latto’s recent single “Put It On Da Floor” which dropped last Friday (April 21) that got had Coi Leray feeling as if she was being body-shamed on the record. “Smoking on that gas blunt big as Coi Leray/ Bitches like to run they mouth, but I’m the type to run a fade,” Latto raps.

“These bitches wanna be like the n—– so bad. Y’all wanna have rap beef SOOOOOO BADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD [crying face emojis] … LITTLE MISS PRESSURE,” the New Jersey native added.

Latto responded to Coi’s Twitter rant during her Coachella set last weekend.
“Aye, Coi. By the way, I love your body, baby,” Latto yelled into the crowd.
Coi responded back on Twitter writing, “It was the diss record with my name on it that confused me. Much love to Latto! Appreciate the compliment.”
Coi was referring to Latto dissing Nicki Minaj on the record.
“Bitches acting like they running s—, they really ran through” and, “She thought I would kiss her a–, she mustn’t have taken her meds” appear to be targeted towards Nicki Minaj.
Nicki has yet to respond to Latto’s subliminal bars.
