Kendrick Lamar Tops Drake With ‘Big Steppers’ Tour Record
Kendrick Lamar has surpassed Drake’s tour record after the Compton native earned over $100 million for his Big Steppers tour.
According to Touring Data, Kendrick is now the high-grossing tour by a rapper as a headlining act in history having earned $110.9 million from 929,000 tickets across 73 shows.
Having claimed the No. 1 spot, this puts K. Dot in front of Drake and Migos’ Aubrey & The Three Migos Tour, Drake and Future‘s Summer Sixteen Tour, Kanye West and JAY-Z‘s Watch the Throne Tour, his own DAMN. Tour and Travis Scott‘s Astroworld Tour.

Kendrick dropped Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers in May 2022 and began the tour that July. The tour came to an end that September.
Kendrick was accompanied by Baby Keem and Tanna Leone on tour. K. Dot served as a creative director alongside Dave Free and Mike Carson. Actress Helen Mirren served as the narrator.
The Big Steppers Tour was Kendrick’s first solo tour since his Damn Tour, which occurred between 2017 and 2018.
Drake and Migos’ Aubrey and The Three Migos Tour reportedly grossed $79 million in 2018 per HipHopDX. Pollstar reported the earnings across 43 dates with 678,410 tickets sold. The top tour that year was Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour which grossed 10,271,531 with 2,168,706 tickets sold. Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s On The Run II Tour came in second which grossed 6,935,409 with 1,298,038 tickets sold.
