Rihanna Explains How Her Second Pregnancy Is ‘So Different’
Rihanna is currently pregnant with her second child with A$AP Rocky and she explained how “different” her second pregnancy is from the first. The Grammy-winning singer spoke about it on the red carpet at the Met Gala Monday (May 2). “It’s so different from the first one,” Rihanna shared with Entertainment Tonight. “No cravings. Tons of nausea. Everything’s different, but I’m enjoying it.”
She added, “I feel good. I feel energetic.” As for her little one, Rihanna shared an update. “I’m in love. I’m obsessed and I don’t even feel guilty about it,” Rihanna gushed.
A$AP chimed in adding, “[He’s] growing big. Beautiful, happy baby.” The couple welcomed their son last May. RiRi skipped the Met Gala last year but she made up for it in her gorgeous Valentino gown. Her gown came with a 16-foot train. The cape was a main talking point which was made out of silk and featured 30 Camelias, 500 petals, and 25 leaves, per the outlet.

Rihanna announced her pregnancy during her historical Super Bowl Halftime performance. It was announced this week that she now has the most-watched Super Bowl performance in history. Rihanna’s new number surpassed the previous record that was set in 2015. The 2015 Super Bowl was between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, which attracted 114.442 million people. Streaming was not included in that data. For the Halftime Show, Katy Perry was the headliner and brought out Lenny Kravitz and rapper Missy Elliott as special guests.

“When I first got the call to do it again this year, I was like, [hisses] ‘You sure?’ I’m three months postpartum,” RiRi previously said per Billboard. “Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this. But when you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world. The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all … It’s important for my son to see that.”
