Metro Detroit Job Fair
If you’re looking for a job or looking to switch to a new career, the 2023 Diversity Works Career Expo job fair is coming to Pontiac. The type of positions they’re looking to fill include IT, retail, clerical, healthcare, hospitality and so many more. It’s going to happen May 18th between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM at the United Wholesale Mortgage Sports Complex in Pontiac. Registration is not required, but if you go to their website and sign up before May 12th, you’ll be entered to win a bunch of prizes. You can also schedule transportation if you don’t have a way to get to the job fair. So be sure to do that if you’re interested by clicking here.
Chris Brown & Usher Drama
Well, Chris Brown was in the news all weekend long. First, Usher threw a surprise party for him in Las Vegas for his birthday and reportedly Chris got mad at Tiana Taylor because she refused to have a conversation with him. So, he flipped out and then him and his crew left and apparently Usher went after him. TMZ reported, but this has not been confirmed, that Chris Brown and his crew assaulted Usher. Remember last week when I was just telling you about how Usher was like, “I’m in love with Chris Brown”? Well, like I said, none of that was confirmed.
But then after all that, Chris went on to perform at Usher’s Lovers and Friends Festival and someone got him on camera backstage, losing it again. Chris came out and said, “Y’all been geeked all weekend. Y’all are dragging it now.” Basically, he explained his security was trying to clear people from the stage and backstage and people were not cooperating and they were starting to push backwards. And he was like flipping out because his son was back there. At this point, have you not realized having your son backstage at shows is probably not the best idea? There are too many moving parts, especially at a large festival like that. Also, it’s the security’s job to clear the people out. It’s not your job to yell at them. Let the security do their job.
Big Sean Loves On Jhene Aiko
Speaking of the Lovers and Friends Festival, Detroit’s own Big Sean performed and he showed some love to his lady Jhene Aiko. Sean brought her onstage and told the crowd, “It took her so much to get up on this stage. Cause she’s so hands on with him. She’s so nurturing. Breastfeeding, you know. Breastfeeding, not just pumping. She really nurtures and takes care of this baby. It took a lot for her to get up on stage today so I appreciate all the love you guys are showing her. And shoutout to all the mommas out there really doing their thing too, ’cause I don’t know how y’all do it, man. Jhené, I love you, great show. Good job, keep going.” I absolutely love Sean. I mean, if you’re wondering, Sean is like such a nice guy. He really, really is. Him and his mom, they do great things for the community and I just love him and I love, you know, all the love that he gives her.
