The City of Detroit is offering free trimming or removal services for residents to get rid of dangerous trees. We've had a lot of windstorms and stuff this spring so they're trying to prevent any trees damaging houses. They'll actually have inspectors come out to your house and walk on the property and discuss what needs to be done. They're going to prioritize for seniors and veterans and those who are disabled. But residents can call 313-224-4444, or you can submit a request online to the Department of Neighborhoods. Those removals are going to start this summer, so get on that!

I talked about a possible Verzuz battle between Diddy and Jermaine Dupri. Well, they seem to have a date and a place. It’ll go down September 8^th at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This is according to Diddy himself in a video that surfaced of him talking to Busta Rhymes and Fabolous backstage at an event in Miami. Now, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz have not confirmed this yet and I doubt that's probably the way they wanted it announced. Well, I'm looking forward to it if it does happen, because there's so many artists that fall underneath them. Especially Jermaine. I mean, he could do like a verse of just people he's written for and done music for! And I'm pretty sure I talked about this in the Scoop previously. Jermaine has said that if he ever does a Verzuz with Diddy, he's going to premiere an unreleased song that he had with Biggie. We’ll see!

Well, one of the most anticipated sets that happened at the Lovers and Friends Festival over the weekend was Missy Elliott and she previewed a new song. This would be her first single since 2020 and if she’s got an album on the way, it’ll be her first since 2005. I have a feeling once this single comes out, it's for sure going to go viral and be another hit for her.
