Drake Responds To A Credit Card Being Declined: ‘Embarrassing’
The credit card Drake was using said, “honestly, never mind.” Over the weekend, the Toronto rapper was promoting Stake, an online casino that the Her Loss creator is an influencer for. He was hosting a special Kick livestream when the card he was using got declined. Lil Yachty joined the rapper on the livestream.
“Yo, listen, I don’t know who owns Kick, but I know the chat wants to see Yachty go live,” he said. “I’ve been telling him I feel like he can take over Kick. That’s just a little business idea for whoever owns Kick; they need to cut the check for my brother.”
Later on in the video, Drake tried to donate $500 to the platform only for the card to get declined. The card Drizzy was using was not his personal credit card.
“Embarrassing,” Drake joked, adding, “Yeah, what just happened?! Yeah, we’re just not even…”

This news follows Drake’s It’s All A Blur Tour that he is about to embark on with his Her Loss collaborator 21 Savage. The tour will kick off in Memphis, Tennessee, on June 29th and ends on October 7th in Drizzy’s home city of Toronto.
On the music side, Drake dropped his first solo song of 2023 titled “Search & Rescue,” which samples Kim Kardashian.
“I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy, remember that,” Kim is heard saying on the song. The sample comes from the 2021 season finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Kardashian was previously married to Kanye West, who had beef with Dizzy for three years. That ended in 2021 when they squashed it to promote the release of Gangster’s Disciples co-founder Larry Hoover from prison.
