Michigan Restaurant Earns Spot In Best Quick Bite Top 10
A Michigan restaurant has earned a spot among the best places in the nation to grab a quick bite. TripAdvisor recently ranked the Best Quick Bites in the U.S. and compiled a list of the top 25 restaurants.
Their Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best award is given to restaurants that go above and beyond and places that racked up tons of excellent reviews and opinions over a whole year. Out of the 8 million listings on TripAdvisor, less than 1 percent get the honor of being awarded Best of the Best.
Securing a spot in the top 10 is Muldoons Pasties & Gifts, a Michigan gem located in the U.P. This restaurant has proudly claimed the number 8 position in the ranking of the best places to grab a quick bite in the U.S. Just a short distance from downtown Munising, Muldoons serves up a variety of pasties from beef and chicken to vegetable and dessert pasties.
The restaurant has more than 900 reviews and a TripAdvisor rating of 4.5 stars, it’s obviously a fan favorite. One reviewer, Cassbella, commented, “When in the UP you have to have pasties and I thought Muldoon’s was pretty tasty! I would definitely come back.” Another review raved about their pasties. “I have had pasties in the past but this one was the best one I have every had. I ended up going back the next day before we left for home 4 hours away.”
What’s fascinating is that the ranking features popular restaurant chains like Blaze Pizza, Portillo’s, and Shake Shack. It’s quite impressive to see a local Michigan establishment holding its own alongside these well-known chains.
