Congratulations are in order! A couple of months ago I told you that Eminem’s daughter, Hailie Jade got engaged. Well, his other daughter, Alaina Marie, just got married over the weekend. She’s 30-years-old and he adopted her after her mom, who was his ex-wife Kim’s twin sister, had a bunch of struggles and stuff. She eventually passed away. But he adopted her at that time and she’s now married to her husband, Matt Moeller. Hailie Jade was a bridesmaid and the bride wore a mermaid style gown with a veil. She looked great. So, I just wanted to send congrats to them!

The drama is continuing, or maybe it’s ending. I told you yesterday about Anita Baker going in on Babyface and his fans because his fans got all upset that she was calling him a co-headliner, that he was just an opening act for her. Well, Anita has removed Babyface from the remainder of the shows on her tour. She took to Twitter and said, “After silently enduring cyber bullying and verbal abuse and threats of violence from the fan base of our special guest/support act”, which she was calling ‘Kenny’s Crazies’, “In the interest of personal safety, I will continue the Songstress Tour alone. Appropriate refunds will be made. Blessings.” Well, Tank had something to say about that. He made a video where he said, “It’s really hard for me to stand by and let one of my heroes, one of the nicest human beings ever just be attacked and vilified for no reason. Guy by the name of Babyface. When a man stands accused of doing something that he hasn’t done, he apologized to his fans for not being able to perform after he was told he would not be able to perform. Because I know that the tour itself is over, but I just don’t think the back-and-forth is over.

Well, Tory Lanez was scheduled to be sentenced yesterday for his shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. I was waiting for the outcome so I could report that today, but apparently, I’m gonna have to keep waiting. His sentencing has been postponed until August 7th. His lawyers have requested a continuance because they need more time. Prosecutors are seeking 13 years in this case, so we’ll have to wait a few more months to find out.
