Kendrick Lamar Teases New Music From Studio Session
Is there new Kendrick Lamar music on the way? Kendrick teased new music from a studio session from his finsta @jojoruski, which he recently made public. The Compton native shared two videos that seemingly had an unreleased song playing in the background. The emcee did not give any kind of caption or share when or if the songs would be released.
Kendrick’s last release was his surprise Baby Keem collab, “The Hillbillies,” last month. The accompanying music video shows the cousins having a blast as they run around shopping malls, private jets, festival grounds, etc.
“We gon’ f— up the world, excuse me, but is that your girl?/ Didn’t mean to possess your girl/ Baby, I’m high profile, don’t ever tell ’em you met me, girl/ They gon’ think that you rep me, girl/ 5′ 7″, I’m Messi, girl/ I’ma pass you to Neymar, he got time for your bestie, girl,” Kendrick raps on the EVILGIANE-produced track.

The cousin duo previously worked together on “N95,” “Die Hard,” “Range Brothers,” “Savior,” “Nile,” and the Grammy award-winning “Family Ties,” among others.
Kendrick’s first offering of 2023 was his surprise remix with Beyoncé on her “America Has A Problem.” The two have collaborated in the past on “Freedom” from Lemonade and The Lion King: The Gift’s “Nile.”
These collaborations follow Kendrick’s Grammy-winning Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers released last year. Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers won Best Rap Album. This was his third time winning the award. In 2016 he won in the category for To Pimp a Butterfly and in 2018 for Damn. Kendrick was also nominated at the 2014 Grammy Awards for Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, but famously lost to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for The Heist.
